JohnyML is a Delhi based art critic and curator. He holds an MFA in Art History and Criticism from MS University, Baroda and MA in Creative Curating from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Besides he has an MA in English Language and Literature from Kerala University. JohnyML has curated many shows like ‘Small but Significant’ (2001), ‘CAN’ (2002), ‘HEAT’ (2002), ‘Trading Spaces’ (2003), ‘Dreams: Projects Unrealized’ (2003), ‘There is a Place in the Sun’ (2004), ‘The Great Indian Digital Divide’ (2004), ‘Elements’ (2005), ‘Fly High My Beloved Birds’ (2005), ‘Paper Flute’ (2006) and ‘A Compensation for What has been Lost’ (2006). He has contributed several articles in art journals and has written many catalogues. He is the co-author of ‘K.S.Radhakrishnan’, a monograph on the artist written by R.Sivakumar. JohnyML has translated Anita Nair’s novel ‘Mistress’ in Malayalam. He is the founder editor of www.brownblackart.com (now defunct).

 

Dilip Narayanan is a Kerala based art promoter and he owns the Open Eyed Dreams Gallery at Calicut.
