Writer and curator, Anubhav R Nath, met with veteran gallerist, Renu Modi of Gallery Espace, who started her art journey in 1989. They met at her Delhi residence – a very unique home. A living museum, distinguished as the only house to be ever-designed by MF Husain. Born in Kasargode, a northern district in Kerala, Sumesh Kamballur got his initiation in art through ritual and kitsch art. Later he joined the Trivandrum Fine Arts College and obtained BFA in Painting. Currently he is a post graduate student in Kalabhavana, Santiniketan. Sumesh’s paintings take their inspiration from nature, its uses and abuses. He is concerned with the process of globalization and its effects on human life. Born in 1980, Mumbai, Charmi Gada Shah did her fine arts bachelors from the Raheja School of Arts, Mumbai and post graduation in fine arts from Chelsea College of Art, London. She has a special interest in old architectures and the histories that connect them to the present.
