Baazar Art and Art Shop at Arts i, New Delhi
Arts i, the Religare Arts Initiative, New Delhi devices new strategies in presenting art. On 17th January 2009, Arts i opened a show of life style designs, light installation and a massive mural work at its premises in New Delhi. Various design houses in Delhi presented their life style products in a fair like presentation while light installation artist Vibhor Sogani presented his latest creations with steel and light. A few French artists created a memorial on 26/11 by painting key images from the terror attack on the outer walls of the gallery. On the same day, Arts i opened its arts store and coffee shop for the public use. The gallery will soon have a rich documentation centre. Mukesh Panika, director of Arts i is behind these initiatives. We present a photo feature on the opening day of Baazar Art at Arts i.
